Aims of Group
The Commandos Ju-Jitsu have been meeting for around 15 years. Our qualified
instructor provides instruction and examination grading for belts.
The group is run on an independent non-profit making basis. Ability to pay is not an obstacle to joining the Commandos Ju Jitsu. Members are asked to make a small contribution towards the cost of hiring the room.
The Commandos Ju-Jitsu aims to teach members the ancient Japanese
martial art of yielding. In particular it includes the techniques of throwing,
locking, choking, striking and kicking against vulnerable points. Respect and
understanding of the power and potential of Ju Jitsu is integral to the instruction
provided.
