The aim of our group is to protect, promote, build and maintain a sustainable and prosperous community within Crown Gardens and to work in partnership with other groups and bodies sharing mutual aims.
What we do
With our collective voice, we have greater "clout" in dealing with the local authority, the factor, Redrow Homes and other agencies.
Together we have a positive role too! We continue to organise social events such as summer barbecues, winter socials, stew nights and raise funds for both charitable purposes and to enhance the facilities available to residents in Crown Gardens.
We also liase with other associations in the area and canvass our neighbours on local issues, represent views to statutory and private bodies with interests in our area, and circulate regular newsletters and email circulations.
Membership is open to all who live in either of the two blocks built by Redrow (formerly Tay Homes) on Southside Crescent, Handel Place, Malta Terrace, Kidston Terrace, Kidston Place and Naburn Gate in the New Gorbals.
