About Us

Our aims and objectives

Gorbals Credit Union is a financial Co-operative owned, controlled and operated by its members. The objectives of the Credit Union are:

  1. The promotion of thrift amongst its members by the accumulation of their savings


  2. The creation of sources of credit for the benefit of its members at a fair and reasonable rate of interest


  3. The use and control of its members savings for their mutual benefit


  4. The training and education of members in the wise use of money and in the management of their financial matters

To join the credit union you must come along in person during our opening times, there is a £1.00 entrance fee.
We will require at least two current forms of identification containing your name and address.
for example : gas or electricity bills, bank statement, council tax bill, current passport, driving licence or telephone bill.

Monday 9.00am - 12noon
Tuesday 10.00am - 3.00pm
Wednesday 3.00pm - 6.00pm
Thursday 10.00am - 3.00pm
Friday 9.00am - 12noon
