Our aims and objectives
Big Noise is an ‘Urban Creative Studio Space’, which provides a unique opportunity to access teaching and advice from industry professionals in a high spec environment, allowing studio members to investigate every aspect of the music & film industry, from song writing, recording and post production to music video, short film, branding and marketing. Big Noise gives members the space to explore their audio visual ideas and develop skills to become self sufficient as creators and producers while developing a network of contacts in one of the fastest growing industries in the city. .What we do

Studio Season Two:
December 2005 to August 2006
“Artist Development and EPK Production”
Season two will be taking a more in-depth look at creating personal programmes and journeys for each studio member to further develop their existing and newly emerging skill base. Working individually and collaboratively there will be also be opportunity to network with specialist industry professionals such as:

Established Record Companies
Sound Engineers
Professional Signed Musicians
Season two will conclude with the production of Electronic Press Kits, which will be personally tailored and produced by and for each studio member, which can be styled as a current CV for the creative industries, developed as an portfolio showcase or even an EP for release by an artist or band.

To become a Studio Member you must live in the Gorbals area and be over 18yrs.

Big Noise is a partnership project developed by Reed in Partnership, Crown Street and Urban Learning Space, The Lighthouse, Glasgow. Big Noise is funded by Department of Working Pensions.
Big Noise runs professional teaching studio sessions on Wednesdays and Fridays
