Our aims and objectives
By linking adult learning processes and provide training it is hoped over a 4-year period 1,600 young people will have the opportunity
to improve educational skills. 10 people a week, 40 weeks a year over 4 years.
Info and advice will be available to young people on a wide range of health issues. The cafe will help provide the opportunity to try health foods and training advents
will be held on the premises.
The work done by the young people in obtaining the cafe the cafe will promote a positive image for young people in the area.
The staffwill be there to assist young people to identify issues of concern in the area and to organise around them.
Part of the work undertaken by staff in the cafe will be to look at crime prevention and the reasons for crime in the area
What we do
To improve access to information and advice. Approximately 1,350 young people will have access to information and advice 5 days a week.
Additional Information
Our community cafe is open every day from 10am to 2pm serving a variety of healthy food. We are currrently aiming for the 'Healthy Choices Award' from the Health Board.
