To promote fine arts as an enjoyable hobby involving communication with other similarly interested people.What we do

The club was set up in January 2001 by a group of people interested in painting/art as an absorbing hobby and opportunity to encourage people in the Gorbals area to 'have a go'. We currently have a register of 23 people. The group find the activity relaxing and an opportunity to communicate with each other on various subjects. We also exhibit works in various venues, having the possibility of a rolling exhibition in the St Francis centre, Cumberland Street.
Funding Bodies
Glasgow City Council, Gorbals Community Forum, Gorbals Initiative Open Golf Tournament.
