About Us

Our aims and objectives

To help combat Social exclusion in the over 50's and to provide a warm and welcoming enviroment where people can meet. We also promote training and life long learning.

What we do

We are a very busy and vibrant club who change our programme every 10 weeks. We also provide a lunch which includes soup , sandwiches, tea or coffee for £1.00. Events include:

The Gorbalites are run by a Committeee of elected members. We always welcome new members and hope you'll come along and join in the fun. Meet new and old friends and enjoy some lunch. If you have any special needs please let us know. The Gorbalites hold a fund of information and have been asked to participate in several radio and television programmes .

Funding Bodies

Our group receives funding from the following organisations; Community Planning Partnerships, Scottish Community Foundation, Lottery Awards for All and Comic Relief.
